Vietnam Visa

  1. Visa on arrival with the letter of approval and tips
  2. Visa exemption and list
  3. Visa online/e-visa and link

Almost all visitors to Vietnam need a visa to enter the country, although some exemptions apply for citizens of countries with reciprocal agreements with Vietnam. Depending upon the nationality and passport of the applicant, a tourist visa can be obtained at the Vietnamese diplomatic office or consulates in foreign countries. Visas can also be obtained with the help of a licensed Vietnamese Travel Company, known as a “Visa on Arrival”.
Visa on Arrival (VOA)
What to bring

  • Valid passport with several blank pages left
  • One photo of passport type
  • US$ 25.00 for single entry (cash only)

The Visa on arrival is simple and more cost-effective. They may be either single-entry or multiple-entry, as requested at the time of application. The easiest way is to get your visa through a licensed Vietnamese Travel Company. We can quickly and efficiently organize your pre-arranged VOA (visa on arrival) if you wish. Processing fee is from USD$10.00/ person (not applicable for the listed nationalities). Besides, you need to pay a stamping fee of USD$25.00/ person for a single entry or USD$50/ person for multiple entries on arrival at the Airport’s visa checkpoint. The fee must be paid in US dollars and in cash only – no other currency or form of payment is accepted.
Should you need our services for visa on arrival, please provide us the following information:
  1. Arrival and departure dates
  2. Scan of your passport
Other docs are required for several sensitive nationalities*

It usually takes about 2-3 working days to have the visa on arrival letter. We will then email you the letter. You must present this letter upon boarding your flight. Also, you will need to prepare two photos of passport type.
On arrival at the airports (in Hanoi, Da Nang , Ho Chi Minh City,…) please proceed to  the Visa on Arrival window/counter to hand over your passport and photos, and be given a simple form to fill out or download Visa application form here. Pay the stamping fee of USD$25.00 for the single entry and USD$50.00 for multiple entries. You get passport back with visa before collecting your baggage.
Note: your passport must be valid for 6 months beyond your travel date, and there must be several blank pages left on your passport.
  • Unfortunately, citizens of the following countries are ineligible for a VOA and will have to apply at their nearest Vietnamese embassy/consulate:
